Every company has a valentine’s offering. How can you cut through the noise?
Well, one way is to think of something that no-one else could ever do, and even if they could. Surely it’s far too silly?
When SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham got in touch with us, we came up with ‘Fin-der’ (think Tinder).
An actual penguin, helping single humans find a match.
We put giant dating app style profiles in the Penguin enclosure and told Pablo the Penguin to get to work. Pablo’s pairs would then be given a tour of the SEA LIFE Centre for a date.
It’s a crazy idea, and was mad enough to stand out from the masses, receiving radio air time on Valentine’s day Breakfast news slots (Bauer Network/Global Radio) as well as some regional Newspaper coverage (Express and Star).
Radio content alone reached 1.5 million people in SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham’s prime catchment area.
